About Laura
Passionate about meeting clients where they are at and connecting with peoples hearts, I operate under a transpersonal lens and I integrate attachment theory, trauma theory, mindfulness/ in-depth studies in Buddhist psychology, interpersonal neurobiology, and exploration of deep childhood wounds. I am grounded in humor and humility, and I have a deep curiosity for life's depth and peculiarities. My therapeutic approach reflects a profound commitment to kindness towards oneself.
I am originally from central New York and I have been living in Colorado for over a decade. I have a Bachelors of Science in Neuropsychology and a Minor in Religious Mysticism from Ithaca College and a Masters in Contemplative Psychotherapy from Naropa University. I love being outdoors, I am an avid gardener and love hiking and playing with my dogs. My work as a therapist is informed by my relationships; my relationship to myself as well as my friends and family. I have a meditation practice spanning over 15 years and continue to attend retreats.
